Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

Hailing from his swan-song season which also served as his fifth in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, We have a signed stick used by HOFer Gump Worsley during the 1973-74 season with Minnesota. A Sher-Wood model, “L. Worsley” and “1” appear stamped-on, with the lumber retaining its original black tape over the blade and paddle and white-over-black on the knob. A date code of “17 Dec 1973” is visible in blue along the underside of the paddle, with the stick exhibiting light use and remaining solid and uncracked, with the striping accent intact over the upper paddle. Lorne has added a small silver paint pen signature over the front side of the blade, and it displays especially well against the dark background.
