Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019

The modern record holder for the longest shutout streak at just over 332 minutes, Brian Boucher spent 3 seasons in the WHL with the Tri-City Americans before making his NHL debut with Philly, in 1999-00. Hailing from his rookie season where he appeared in 35 games, we have a Flyers jersey worn by the Woonsocket native in the 1999-00 preseason. A CCM “Goalie Style” label with handwritten “34” sits affixed to the collar along with a size “58” fly tag placed adjacently, with embroidered NHL and CCM crests over the reverse bottom hem. Styled with the famous Flyers team crest fully administered in tackle twill, the solid orange V-neck has been accented with orange sleeve and verso numbers with black trim, with “Boucher” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. There is no NHL 2000 crest, as these didn’t appear on preseason jerseys. With just a few marks over each sleeve along with some red goalpost paint transfer, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition. A COA from longtime Flyers’ trainer Jim “Turk” Evers will accompany.
