Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Winter 2019
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/26/2019
The National League rookie of the year in 1951, Willie Mays is a twelve-time Gold Glove Award winner, with his 24 All-Star Game appearances a three-way tie for most all-time. We have a bat signed by the 1954 NL batting champ. An Adirondack 302 signature model – the same type employed by Mays during his career – 34” in length with perfect deep stampings, no numbers appear over the knob, with a blond finish over the barrel. Mays has added a gorgeous blue fiber-tip marker signature in his distinct style between the signature stamping and center brand, adding the desirable “HR 600”. With absolutely no issues for the bat or signature, an LOA from JSA will accompany.
