A memorable decade for netminders, goaltender mask design reached it’s pinnacle in the 1970s, with an endless array of highly customized and decorated examples donned including historic masks worn by Gilles Gratton, Gerry Cheevers, Doug Favell, Gilles Meloche, Gary Bromley and others. We have a collection of 10 goalie sticks, with each wielded by a noteworthy keeper during the decade. Included, we have Sherwood models used by Jerome Mrazek, Gary Inness, Ernie Wakely, Dunc Wilson and Doug Favell, Victoriaville models used by Gary Edwards, Gord McRae and Ron Grahame, a Louisville used by Ray Martyniuk and a KOHO that saw action in the hands of Andy Brown. Each stick has the respective player’s name over the shaft, with each featuring the original intact tape job.
