A 13-time MLB All-Star, Ken Griffey Jr enjoyed an especially lengthy career, culminating in 7 Silver Slugger Awards and 10 Gold Gloves. We have a collection of Griffey items totaling 6, with three signed specimens and three graded cards. Included, we have a 33 ¾” Louisville C271 game model baseball bat, limited-edition game model "Air Griffey Metal" Nike cleats from 1999 and a dual-signed limited-edition baseball (with Alex Rodriguez). The cards include his 1989 Upper Deck rookie encapsulated and graded GEM MT 10 by PSA, along with his 1989 Donruss Rated Rookie and 1989 Topps Traded both graded 10 Mint of Better by Beckett. The bat has been certified by UDA, with a JSA LOA to accompany the dual-signed ball, along with a second LOA. A JSA LOA for the Nike signed cleats is also included.
The bat exhibits gorgeous silver stampings with Griffey signing between the center brand and signature stamping in silver, with both the signature and bat flawless, with a hologram numbered “BAF55565” from UDA affixed over the barrel. The cleats exhibit just light wear, with Griffey signing the toe of the right shoe in silver, with the limited-edition number of “218/240” written over the heel. Lastly, the dual-signed ball is a Rawlings Official AL example with light wear and toning, with both signing over the sweet spot in blue ballpoint (Griffey over Rodriguez), with the limited-edition number of “282/1999” written to the right of the signatures.
