The acquisition of HOFer Igor Larionov early in the 1995-96 season gave the Red Wings a formidable five-man Russian unit featuring Fedorov, Kozlov, Fetisov and Konstantinov. Larionov had 13 points in 19 playoff games for Detroit in 1995-96 after he had 73 points in the regular season, including 71 (21 goals, 50 assists) in 69 games with the Red Wings after they acquired him from San Jose in a trade for Ray Sheppard on Oct. 24. His signed 1995-96 Red Wings game-worn playoff jersey has “Red Wings 70th Anniversary Authentic 1995-96 Detroit Red Wing Game Sweater” and “96 Playoffs” team stamps screened inside the rear hem. A few big black marks below the team crest are featured in the solid game wear.
More game wear shows in more black marks on the front tail, a few marks on the left side of the Winged Wheel crest, marks on the sleeves and to the left of the 8 on the back and on the left and right rear tail, and board burns on the sleeves with an unrepaired burn hole on the right sleeve.
Dedicated autograph in bold black marker reads “To Bob, With Best Wishes, Igor Larionov #8” on the upper left of the sewn-on white twill No. 8 on the back.
NHL Center Ice tagging and size 52 and CCM flag tags are in the back of the neck, and NHL and CCM logos are embroidered on the right rear hem.
