Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Centering a line with veterans Gordie Howe and Ted Lindsay in only his second NHL season, Norm Ullman would spend over two decades in both Detroit and Toronto, with over 1000 career games played and over 1000 points scored. We have a stick used by the Provost native during the mid-1970s, while with the Maple Leafs. A CCM Custom Pro model, “Ullman” appears stamped-on, with “9” handwritten twice in thin black marker over the upper shaft. With the original white tape over the blade and black over the handle and knob, the striping accent is intact, with light to moderate use exhibited. A few dark marks are visible over the lower shaft, with puck marks and wear over the taped section of blade.
