Eye-popping colors and near perfect cardboard combine in this captivating NM-MT 8 bonanza, with all but one of the cards receiving NM-MT recognition at PSA. Six of the 1959 Topps CFL examples present are second-to-none on the famous PSA Population Report, with pop numbers in brackets; #10-Quilter (5), 12-Hunt (5), 28-Brown (3), 37-Krebs (5), 51-Gravens (7) and 52-Graham (3). Other formidable NM-MT 8s from '59 are 5-Van Pelt, 14-Jessup, 24-Scullion, 25-Warlick, 27-Wylie and 64-Kuntz, with the first three of those edged only by a single MINT 9. As for the colorful group of 1965 Topps CFL entries, there is one MINT 9, 111-Dave Pivec, which is tied with five others as the highest ever graded. Then comes a baker's dozen of NM-MT 8s, with three cards tied for first place on their respective lines of the pop report; 34-Deleeuw (pop 9), 35-Ecuyer (pop 5) and 52-Karcz (pop 4). Other 8s are 14-Shafer, 61-Andreotti, 66-Exelby, 70-Levesque, 76-DeGraw, 90-Buchanan, 101-Whitehouse, 106-Hughley, 109-Nykoluk and 115-Stoneburgh. Absolutely gorgeous cards await the high bidder.
It should also be pointed out that all holders are overall in very pleasing condition, exhibiting minimal handling.
