Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Cool elite international hockey jersey is Claude Lemieux’s 1991 Canada Cup Team Canada pre-tournament game-worn jersey. Lemieux took part in Team Canada 1991’s training camp and pre-tournament games, though he did not play in the actual 1991 Canada Cup tournament. Obtained directly from Claude Lemieux, his pre-tournament jersey with the Labatt Canada Cup patch on the right breast and CCM logo on the right rear hem has a size 54 flag tag in the back of the collar, which has remnants of the cut Maska tag. Surname letters on the nameplate and number “32” on the back are sewn-on white twill. The heat-screened crests on the front and sleeves exhibit cracking with minimal white vinyl loss. A signed LOA from Claude Lemieux will accompany.
Game wear includes black marks on the front tail, including the lower part of the Canada crest, a black mark on the upper right of the 2 on the back, and board burns on the sleeves and the left side of the front tail.
