Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2003-04 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead.
Hailing from the 2014-15 NHL season, we have a pair of Canadiens home and away jerseys that were worn by Jarred Tinordi. Each jersey features size "58+" tagging along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, both V-neck sweaters have been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Tinordi” across the nameplate of each in single twill. The away jersey also sports the Jean Beliveau memorial “4” crest, situated over the right breast. The home jersey exhibits faint burns over each sleeve, while the away example has a few marks and burns over the lower left sleeve. Team patches numbered “A03475” (away) and “A03498” (home) sit on the inside hems, while holograms affixed to the reverse numbers of each match the accompanying LOAs from the Canadiens.
