Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/6/2018
Mike Allison’s 1986-87 Maple Leafs game-worn jersey has the Heart and Stroke Foundation and King Clancy patches on the shoulders. This combination of patches was only worn during the second half of the 1986-87 season and easily ranks among the toughest and most desired styles for collectors. This beauty with 10 team repairs has the embroidered CCM* logo on the right rear hem and a heavily reinforced fight strap. The tagging in the collar is gone but it measures out to approximately a size 52. Sewing fix on the right side of the middle of the blue twill No. 8 is one of four team repairs on the back. There are five team repairs on the front tail and one on the left sleeve.
More game wear shows in nice interior pilling, faint black mark on the left breast, board burns on both sleeves, light marks on the front tail and sleeves, and small spots of red and blue paint transfer on the back of the right sleeve near the cuff.
