Big lot of memorabilia from longtime NHL defenseman J.J. Daigneault spans his career, from his junior days right on through the end of his career in Europe and on into coaching. Among the items featured are Daigneault’s 1982-84 QMJHL Longueuil Chevaliers team jacket, a colorful and wonderfully-preserved red corduroy bomber style with knit cuffs, collar and hem. Daigneault’s 2001-02 Mannheim Eagles Spengler Cup game-worn jersey and his 2001-02 EHC Biel-Bienne game-worn jersey are among the highlights here that also include two of his signed mid-1990s Sher-Wood PMPX 9950 game-used sticks from his time in Pittsburgh and Anaheim, with more items included. Comes with J.J. Daigneault’s signed LOA.
“Chevaliers Junior Majeur de Longueuil” is embroidered in blue thread on the left breast of Daigneault’s bomber jacket, which has Gladu Sports tagging and a flag tag with size “42” handwritten on it in the back of the neck, and a Canadian Tire square patch at the bottom of the button front placket. “Jean-Jacques” is embroidered in blue thread on the right sleeve, and his No. “15” on the left sleeve;
Daigneault’s Mannheim Eagles No. 88 game-worn jersey displays sublimated graphics, including the Spengler Cup Davos 75 Years logo in German on the left breast. Size XL flag tag is in the back of the neck and surname letters and numbers on the front and back are heat-pressed velour-style. Game wear includes black marks on the left sleeve and faint reddish-brown stains on the right breast and left front;
Daigneault’s 2001-02 EHC Biel-Bienne No. 48 game-worn jersey has Wuthrich and size XXL flag tags in the neck. Surname letters and numbers on the front and back are heat-screened blue vinyl, while all other graphics are sublimated. Game wear includes black marks on the back of the sleeves;
Daigneault has signed each of his two game-used sticks in silver paint pen across his tape jobs on their blades. “Daigneault” is factory stamped on the shaft below his tape jobs on the knob, which feature an outer wrap of well-worn blue gauze tape on one stick, and a shorter white tape job on the other stick. Good wear to the bottom edge of the tape jobs on the blades of both sticks.
Other items include:
