An important component within the juggernaut New York Islanders club that dominated all competition during their Stanley Cup dynasty in the early-1980s, Clark Gillies would spend a dozen seasons on Long Island before being enshrined as a respected member of the HOF in 2002. Here is your chance to own four significant pucks he put in the net, including the first of his 319 regular season NHL goals! The pucks are mounted with plaques describing their significance. Along with Gillies’ first career goal plaque (5 ½” x 7”), we have the puck from Gillies’ 100th regular season goal (8 ½” x 9 ½”), the goal he scored to record his 200th career point (9” x 10”), and his only career playoff hat trick in the 1984 Stanley Cup finals (9” x 12”). A signed LOA from Clark Gillies will accompany.
His 100th career goal is represented by the Minnesota North Stars puck he put in the net on November 23, 1977, while his 200th point came less than a month later on December 20 when he scored on Colorado’s Doug Favell. Each plaque shows varying degrees of wear, with both the puck and plate detached from the 1st playoff hat trick wooden plaque. Each plaque has also been signed across the reverse by Gillies.
