Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
An especially talented penalty killer, Jordan Staal was selected 2nd overall at the 2006 NHL Entry Draft. The Thunder Bay native remains the youngest player in NHL history to score a hat trick. We have a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey that was worn by Staal during the first three rounds of the 2009 Stanley Cup playoffs. A CCM label with “58” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the familiar Penguins team crest with embroidered detailing, the solid white v-neck has been embellished with oversized and textured double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Staal” across the affixed mesh nameplate in matching material. The team patch sits over the inside hem, beneath the Dana Heinz signed fight strap. A few dark marks are present over the front and sleeves along with faint burns, with two team repairs over the left sleeve. A team COA will accompany.
