Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A solid defenceman who witnessed almost two decades of Original Six action, Bill Gadsby played for Chicago, New York and Detroit, with the superstar sadly passing in 2016. Representing his inclusion within hockey’s house of heroes in 1970, we have Bill Gadsby’s Hall of Fame honoured member’s blazer. The colorful embroidered HHOF “Honoured Member” crest is sewn on the left breast of the dark navy blazer, with the HOF logo on the face of each of the eight gold-colored buttons. A Hugo Boss label sits on the outside of the inner right-side pocket, with a laundering label from Bertolucci including “52” sizing within the left-side pocket. With just light wear present, the blazer remains in wonderful condition, with a Hugo Boss suit bag to accompany, along with a signed LOA from the Gadsby family.
