The result of 252 penalty minutes incurred and 11 players ejected, the famous Good Friday Massacre that occurred during Game 6 of the 1984 Adams Division finals involved the province-rivals Montreal Canadiens and Quebec Nordiques. We have a multi-signed stick obtained by our consignor from Marcel Aubut, and according to Aubut, this lumber was used by HOFer Peter Stastny during the famous melee. A Victoriaville Ultra model with “Stastny” stamped over the upper shaft, the stick retains its original black tape over the blade and white over the handle/knob with handwritten “26”. Heavy use is exhibited with considerable wear to the blade and lower shaft, with tape added over the lower shaft to possibly rectify a crack. 9 marker signatures appear over both sides of the shaft including Stastny, Mario Marois, Louis Sleigher, Alain Cote and others.
