Los Angeles Kings all-star Bernie Nicholls helped lead Canada to a silver medal at the 1985 IIHF world championship in Prague. Fresh from his first of three 100-point seasons, Nicholls made his only national team appearance for Canada, which lost 5-3 in the final round to Czechoslovakia, which claimed gold on home soil. Agfa sponsors patches are sewn on each shoulder and red cotton surname letters are sewn on the nameplate on the back. Adidas size XL flag tag sits in the back of the neck. The jersey measures out to roughly size 50 and game wear features black marks and oranger paint transfer on the back of the right sleeve. Comes with Bernie Nicholls’ signed LOA.
An Adidas logo is screened on the right breast. More game wear includes diagonal black marks through the bottom of the nameplate on the upper left back, black marks on the right front tail, and red paint transfer on the front tail just above the red hem.
The Canada crest sewn on the front features a Hockey Canada logo screened on a thick cotton patch. Red numbers on the back and white numbers on the sleeves are a heat-pressed velour-like material.
