Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A second round draft choice in 1980, Ric Nattress saw action in over 500 NHL games, with the majority of his career spent with Calgary. We have a Flames jersey that was worn by the Hamilton native in 1991-92, his final season with the club. A Maska Air-Knit label with handwritten “52” sizing sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with an attractive layered team crest fully administered in tackle twll, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers in matching material, with the NHL 75th anniversary crest over the right breast. Now over a quarter-century old, this garment is a wonderful Flames example.
Seeing plenty of action, two holes are present over the lower left cuff along with faint burns and paint transfer, with a large repair over the lower front as well as a large stick mark just above the team crest. The collar has also been repaired, with some fraying across the right shoulder seam.
