This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Originating from his time with Dallas where he lead the Stars to the 1998 President’s Trophy and Conference Finals during his first season in 1997-98, we have a wonderful group of Ed Belfour game-worn items from the late-1990s/early-2000s. Included, we have Vaughn pads from circa-2000, a blocker and glove circa 1999-00 also by Vaughn (not necessarily worn as a pair), signed skate shells, a Vaughn neck guard and an inner glove worn inside his trapper (the inner glove and neck guard were possibly used with someone other than Dallas). There is also a Christian stick with trademark eagle that originates from circa-2000. Practically a full ensemble from a prominent HOFer, a signed LOA from Ed Belfour will accompany.
The pads are the same models used by Belfour in 1999-00 and 2000-01, with each Legacy model pad in Stars colours having both Ed’s trademark eagles embroidered-on and “Belfour”. Great use is visible, with numerous puck marks present along with wear and rubbing to the leather, with some light sweat staining to the interior padding. The blocker and glove were the models used in 1999-00, with each “4000” model in Stars colours having both Ed’s trademark eagles embroidered-on and “Belfour”. Each is littered with puck marks, with heavier wear to the blocker. The skate shells/protectors are in Dallas off-green, with each having an inner label affixed stating “ICON Patent Pending” with a handwritten date of “2-20-01”, with each signed in black marker with perfect signatures. The neck guard and inner glove both exhibit light wear, with the glove signed in blue sharpie, and the signature is flawless. Lastly, the Christian stick has “Belfour” stamped-on, with the stick retaining it’s original tape over the blade, handle and knob. Nice use is exhibited with wear to the blade, along with marks and wear to the shaft.
