Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/19/2018
A gold medal winner at both the 2002 and 2010 Winter Olympics, iconic netminder Martin Brodeur was also victorious with Team Canada at the 2004 World Cup of Hockey. We have a signed stick used by the HOFer at the 1996 World Cup. A preferred Heaton Helite IV model, “M Brodeur” is stamped-on, along with a date code of “1 Aout 1996”, with “1” handwritten on the knob (Marty wore the #1 at this tournament). The original tape is in place on the blade and knob, with Martin adding a somewhat faded gold marker signature across the front side of the blade. Nice use is exhibited, with wear to the underside of the blade, along with a few marks and wear to the paddle. A solid and desirable example from one of the greatest goaltenders of all-time.
