Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
A well-centered Ken Dryden rookie card - what, a goalie wearing his mask on a hockey card?! - leads this 1971-72 O-Pee-Chee set and is VG-EX with corner wear and a few light surface scratches. Other keys are RCs of Guy Lafleur (VG+ with a one-inch light back crease and corner wear) and Marcel Dionne (VG+ with centering issues). The #111 checklist is unmarked but off-centered and with a few light creases (G). The remainder, housed in binder pages, tend to mirror the aforementioned, with VG, VG+ and VG-EX dominating and some making it to EX. Less-than-VG examples are also present, with however very few real low grade fillers, the other checklist (#264) one of them; marked and heavily creased (P). The Orr cards are #100 (VG), 245-Double Trophy (F with multiple creases) and 251-All-Star (VG-EX). Special cards at the end hail Howe (VG+) and Beliveau (G). Decent set is perfect for those wanting to relive their youth and not requiring high grade examples.
