Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2018
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/27/2018
Currently the Senior Vice President of Player Safety for the NHL, Stephane Quintal skated for 16 seasons in the world’s fastest league including 7 in Montreal, where the Boucherville native was the last player to wear Geoffrion’s retired “5”. We have a Habs jersey worn by Quintal during his second stint with les Canadiens circa 2001-02. A cut label with sewn-down size “58” fly tag remains affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests over the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Quintal” across the nameplate in single white twill. Marks with faint burns are present over each lower sleeve, with larger board burns with resulting holes over each shoulder.
