Originally obtained from Charles Mulcahy - the vice-president of the Boston Bruins throughout the 1960s and 1970s – we have an original Art Ross Trophy that was presented to the executive in the late-1960s, with this a matching example of the trophy players would have received. At just over 10” in height, a highly chased and detailed Classical-style double-handled bowl sits perched atop a 7” x 7” x 4 ½” wooden base, with small engraved text listing the particulars including “The Art Ross Trophy Presented to the National Hockey League”. The majority of the wear is isolated to the mounted bowl, with wear and loss to the surface finish in spots, especially along the rim. The bowl is also able to swivel currently. A signed LOA from Charles Mulcahy will accompany.
