Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Seeing action in parts of just 3 NHL seasons, Joe Dziedzic first spent 4 years at the University of Minnesota, and was named Minnesota Mr. Hockey for the 1989-90 season. We have a Pittsburgh Penguins away jersey worn by the Minneapolis native during his rookie season in 1995-96. A size “54” fly tag and CCM labeling with handwritten “16” are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with “Pittsburgh” placed diagonally across the chest in drop-shadow tackle twill letters, the black V-neck has been accented with dual-colour sleeve and verso numbers, with alternate crests over each shoulder. Nice game-wear is present on the garment with marks and burns over each sleeve along with some red paint transfer over the left elbow, with a large stick mark cutting across the team crest letters.
