A veteran of 16 NHL seasons, Glen Murray appeared primarily for both Boston and Los Angeles, with a pair of seasons also spent in Pittsburgh. This signed Penguins home jersey was worn by the Halifax native in 1995-96, and it’s been photo-matched. A size “54” fly tag and CCM labeling with handwritten “27” are affixed to the collar, with embroidered CCM and NHL crests on the back bottom hem. Styled with a large, textured Pens team crest, the solid white V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Murray” across the nameplate in matching material. A number of large stick marks are present over the front, team crest and sleeves, with heavy board burns with resulting holes over each elbow. Murray has added a nice black marker signature between the reverse numbers, and it displays well. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty Image #72317417 from Dec 22nd 1995 has been matched to a number of marks on the right sleeve/shoulder/elbow, including the large board burn/hole in the white stripe over the elbow.
