Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Last seeing action in Germany in 2011-12, netminder Sebastien Caron has appeared for a number of NHL, AHL and Swiss NL teams including HC Fribourg-Gotteron, HC Lugano, Norfolk Admirals and Pittsburgh Penguins. This Pens jersey was worn by the Amqui native in 2002-03, his first season with the club. “Goalie Style” size tagging is affixed to the collar including handwritten “31”, with embroidered NHL and KOHO crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the Pens team crest that saw use from 2002-2016, the solid black V-neck has been accented with textured tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Game-wear includes marks and red paint transfer over each sleeve, along with a few small slits near the right elbow. The team patch sits along the collar, with an LOA from the Penguins organization to accompany.
