Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Worn for a number of seasons until the new team colours were unveiled in 1997, we have a classic orange, yellow and black Vancouver Canucks skate-logo jersey, with this desirable example worn by Dave Lowry during the 1987-88 NHL season, his last of three spent with the club. A sewn-down Maska label sits affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest over the back bottom hem. Styled with the aforementioned “skate” team crest with embroidered detailing, the vintage V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Lowry” across the nameplate in matching material. Game-wear includes a few marks over the lower front and sleeves, with a few small holes resulting from burns. There are also team repairs near each elbow.
