Extremely popular with youth throughout the 1950s and 1960s, table top hockey games were the next best thing to hitting the ice for many. We have a great collection of 6 games, with a few examples that aren’t often seen. Spanning from the 1950s to 1980s, the group is highlighted by a pair of Eagle games, with the Pee Wee Hockey game (1959) that features both Montreal and Toronto along with a Les Canadiens All Stars Hockey Shoot game that is made to stand, with a mini-stick used to “shoot” at targets for points. Next, we have a circa-1960s “Puckey” magnetic hockey game that appears complete, along with a Croatian “Igra Hokej” game from the same era. Rounding out the lot we have 2 1980s plastic table top games, with an example from Radio Shack with the original box, along with a game entitled “Windsor on Ice”.
The Eagle Pee Wee game is roughly 11” x 24” with the original box and appears complete, with just moderate wear to the playing surface, with the second Eagle game (15” x 23”) also appearing complete with stick and back attachment piece (no puck), with general wear to the surface especially along edges. The Croatian game is roughly 13” x 25”, with moderate wear to the box including repairs with clear tape, while the “Puckey” game (13” x 20”) shows light wear with no major damage. Lastly, the Radio Shack game appears complete with players, with the box showing moderate wear with clear tape present. The Windsor game has wear to the surface along with scratches, but appears operational.
