Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2003-04 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead.
With just parts of 5 seasons spent thus far in the NHL, Jarred Tinordi is currently with the Coyotes-affiliate Tucson Roadrunners. We have a pair of Montreal Canadiens jerseys, with both home and away examples that were worn by the Minnesota native in the 2010-11 NHL pre-season. Each jersey features size tagging along the collar with handwritten “1”, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the most famous and recognizable team crest in hockey, both V-neck sweaters have been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Tinordi” across the nameplate of each in single twill. The home jersey exhibits just a few small fabric pulls, with the away example showing a few random marks including beneath the team crest. Team patches numbered “A02442” (Home Set 1) and “A02466” (Away Set 2) sit on the inside hems, while holograms affixed to the reverse numbers of each match the accompanying LOAs from the Canadiens.
