Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
Just shy of reaching the 700-point career milestone, Shane Corson captained two different clubs during his almost two-decade career, the Midland native also represented Canada at the Canada Cup, World Cup, World Juniors and Winter Olympics. This Canadiens jersey was worn by the gritty winger in 1991-92. The proper Maska Ultrafil tagging remains attached to the collar with size “54” fly tag, with embroidered NHL and CCM patches on the back bottom hem. Styled with hockey’s most famous logo, the jersey has been accented with attractive dual-colour twill sleeves and verso numbers, with the important NHL 75th anniversary patch affixed just above the right breast.
A number of fabric pulls are present over the lower front, with heavy pilling to the inner upper sleeves. There are also board burns over each sleeve along with team repairs, with 3 over the left sleeve and 5 over the right, with each cuff heavily repaired along the seam.
