Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/7/2017
A member of the historic Leafs squad that captured the last Original Six era Stanley Cup in 1967, Marcel Pronovost spent parts of 20 seasons in the NHL, appearing in 1,206 games. We have a stick used by the HOFer during the early-1960s. A Northland Pro model, “Pronovost” appears on the upper shaft, along with his preferred lie and handwritten “3”. Stamps from Motor City supplier Olympic grace each side of the shaft, with the original tape in place on both the blade and handle. Nice use is exhibited on the lumber, with numerous marks to the lower shaft, along with a pair of cracks along the base of the blade at the tip.
