Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
A rare opportunity, Classic Auctions is pleased to announce yet another partnership with the historic Montreal Canadiens franchise, one that will bring to auction a large and impressive bounty of jerseys fresh from the vast and seldom offered holdings of the storied hockey club. Examples are present from 2002-03 to 2014-15, with both important game-issued and game-worn jerseys offered, with a direct line from the actual player and the Canadiens franchise – to you, our loyal bidders. Each desirable jersey has inventory numbers from the Canadiens, with each to be accompanied by a letter of authenticity on Canadiens letterhead, with this section of impressive jerseys offered online with the familiar Classic Auction bidding rules applying.
Hailing from the 2006-07 NHL season, we have a pair of Canadiens home and away jerseys that were issued to, and prepared for game use for Jonathan Ferland. Each jersey features size tagging along the collar with handwritten “1”, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the bottom hem and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, both V-neck sweaters have been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Ferland” across the nameplate of each in single twill. Issued but never worn, each jersey remains in beautiful condition. Patches from MeiGray numbered “A00217” (home) and “A00640” (away) sit on the inside hems, while holograms affixed to the reverse numbers of each match the accompanying LOAs from the Canadiens.
