This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Doug Gilmour’s 1996-97 Maple Leafs game-worn jersey from the last season of his first stint in Toronto is signed twice. Gilmour placed a bold black marker autograph on the top of the white twill “3” on the back as well as a very faint fine silver paint pen signature on the front in the space between the Maple Leafs crest and the white twill “C” sewn on the left breast. The Maple Leaf Gardens 65th anniversary patch is sewn on this beauty with custom-shortened sleeves and a size 52 flag tag in the back of the neck. Nice game wear includes a team repair on the left sleeve, board burns and marks on the sleeves and front tail, which has a small reddish-brown spot stain on the lower white stripe.
There is a reddish-brown stain on the right side of the top point of the Maple Leafs crest on the front. More game wear includes black marks on the upper white stripe on the right rear tail and a few black marks on the “9” on the back.
