Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017

The O-Pee-Chee rookie cards of goaltending legends Tony Esposito and Ken Dryden, both slabbed NM+ 7.5 by KSA, highlight our consignor’s graded rookie card stash, with an additional Dryden RC coming in at NM 7. Fellow Canadiens’ superstar Guy Lafleur also has two “entries” which mirror the above, with 7.5 and 7 scores awarded to them. A trio of Hall of Famers who first appeared on cards a year earlier also are represented twice, with Bobby Clarke’s #195 RC from 1970-71 leading at NM 7 and ENM+ 6.5. Two of Gilbert Perreault (#131) are at ENM+ 6.5 and VG 3, while 218-Darryl Sittler rookies include an ENM 6 and an EX 5. Completing the group is a ’78-79 Mike Bossy rookie at NM 7 and an EX 5 example of Ray Bourque’s ’80-81 RC. Once again, several possibilities with another interesting batch of goodies.
