Selected 3rd overall in 2009, Matt Duchene is currently in his 8th season with Colorado, and he’s also won gold with Team Canada at the World Championships, World Juniors and Winter Olympics. This Avalanche third jersey was worn by the Haliburton native in 2013-14, and it’s been photo-matched. Size tagging appears along the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with “Colorado” placed diagonally across the front in dual-colour tackle twill, the tie-neck sweater has been accented with tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with matching alternate crests over each shoulder. A MeiGray patch numbered K01531 sits on the inside hem, with a matching LOA to accompany.
Game-wear includes faint board burns over each sleeve along with a few additional marks. There is also a single team repair, situated over the lower right sleeve. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty Image #187630899 from Nov 10th 2013 has been matched to the black mark on the top of the last "O" of Colorado, and to the long loose thread on the "D" before it.
