Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction June 2017
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 6/21/2017
Originating from the 2008 Stanley Cup Finals that witnessed a six-game battle between Detroit and Pittsburgh, we have a Penguins jersey that was issued to defenceman Mark Eaton. CCM size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the familiar Pens team crest that’s been partially embroidered, the “White Away” sweater has been accented with textured and oversized sleeve and verso numbers, with the Stanley Cup crest over the right breast and Pittsburgh 250th anniversary crest on the right shoulder. The team patch is situated over the inside hem, with a signature from equipment manager Dana Heinze appearing on the fight strap. Remaining in wonderful condition, the jersey will be accompanied by a Penguins LOA.
