A splendid 4" by 6" photograph of Hall-of-Famer George "Buck" Boucher leads here, with the forward-turned-defenceman posing during the 1926-27 season at age 30. He was in his 12th campaign with the Senators, a team he would help, for the third time, to the Stanley Cup in the spring of '27. The eldest of four Boucher brothers to skate in the NHL, Buck is joined by a similar photo of rookie Milt Halliday, with a stamp on the reverse of each revealing "Hands Studio" of Ottawa as the photographer. The Boucher example is in crease-free EX condition, while a side-to-side crease affects the Halliday photo. Completing the foursome are two same-size photos from 1928-29 picturing Allan Shields and Fred Elliott. The team-issued affairs include the players' name, number and position stamped on the back, where "Ottawa Hockey Association, Limited" also appears. The Shields is free of unsightly flaws, with creasing/cracking and a small tear visible along the top of the Elliott. Seldom-seen pieces await their new appreciative home.
