A product of the University of Denver, Matt Carle has logged ice time with a number of clubs thus far throughout his career, including San Jose, Tampa Bay and Philadelphia. This Flyers jersey was worn by the Anchorage native in both the 2009-10 regular season and playoffs, and it’s been photo-matched. CCM size tagging with handwritten “3” graces the collar, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring the classic winged “P” Flyers team crest, the attractive v-neck has been embellished with large double-twill sleeve and verso numbers, along with single-twill letters that have been affixed to the nameplate. An LOA from the Flyers/MeiGray will accompany.
Game-wear includes a few dark marks over each sleeve, along with a tiny amount of red goal-post paint transfer residue over the left elbow. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty image #98419056 from April 11th 2010 has been matched to the two black marks in the white middle circle of the team crest. We should note that according to the accompanying LOA from the Flyers/MeiGray, this sweater was specifically worn in the last game of the 2009-10 season, with Carle scoring in the third period. It was also donned again for Games 3 and 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals vs the New Jersey Devils.
