From the Washington Capital’s 40th anniversary in the NHL, we have a Capital’s jersey worn by Andre Burakovsky during his rookie season in 2014-15, and it’s been photo-matched. Size tagging sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Game-wear includes marks on the lower front and over each elbow, with a few tiny holes present near each cuff. There are also traces of red goal-post paint transfer over the left sleeve along with three team repairs. A MeiGray patch numbered L00966 sits on the inside hem, and according to their population report, the garment is a "White Set 1 w/ 40th Anniversary Patch" example. Featuring the dual-colour twill crest in use since 2007, the solid white v-neck has been accented with double-twill numbers, with matching alternate patches over each shoulder. The important Capital’s 40th anniversary patch sits above the right breast. Regarding the previously mentioned photo-match, Getty image #460253186 from Dec 4th 2014 has been matched to the series of black marks on the lower front.
