Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction October 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
Worn by goaltender Jacques Cloutier, this Quebec Nordiques jersey was either used in 1992-93 and at some point in the 1993-94 season, or recycled from the 1992-93 season and used in 1993-94. Size tagging appears in the collar, with the remnants of a cut Maska label, while embroidered CCM and NHL crests sit on the back bottom hem. Styled with dual-colour tackle twill numbers along with the team crest in use from 1985 until the team relocated, there are also attractive twill fleur-de-lis emblems on the front and back lower hem along with each shoulder. We should also note that the Centennial patch that sat over the right breast has been removed. Game-wear includes a few dark marks on each sleeve, along with traces of red goal-post paint transfer over the left elbow. There are also areas of pilling, on the back collar, middle front and on the back of the left sleeve.
