Selected 18th overall by the Boston Bruins in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft, Robert Cimetta would see action in 103 NHL games, split almost evenly between Boston and Toronto. This Bruins jersey was worn by the Torontonian in 1988-89. Maska Air-Knit tagging remains affixed to the collar, with an embroidered CCM crest on the back bottom hem along with “Custom Crafted” rubberized on the left hand side. Accented with dual-colour tackle twill numbers and the classic spoked “B” Bruins team crest, there are also matching alternate crests over each shoulder. Visible game-wear includes a number of dark marks on the front and each sleeve, along with a large stick mark on the left hand side. There are also traces of red goal-post paint transfer along with some dark staining to the interior shoulders, most likely from poor storage.
