Those with plenty of reading time on their hands will salivate over this interesting lot, with over 40 vintage programs offered from a number of assorted leagues, along with a few other neat items. First, we have a CAHL Philadelphia Arrows program (7” x 10”) from 1933 for a match against New Haven, we have a 6” x 9” single page fold-over program from 1939-40 in poor condition for an OHA contest between the Marlboros and Generals, we have a WHL Saskatoon Quakers program (6 ½” x 10”) from the early-1950s, a Victoria Cougars PCHL program (5 ¾” x 9”) from 1950 vs Seattle, a pair of OHA St. Catharines Black Hawks programs (7” x 10”) from 1962-63 along with three Teepees examples from the late 1950s which includes a 6” x 16” full colour insert team photo of the 1959-60 Memorial Cup Champion Teepees. Next we have a Providence/Rhode Island Reds program (6” x 9”) from the early 1960s with images of Brimsek, Gagnon, Karakas and Terry Reardon on the cover, a pair of Cincinnati Mohawks programs (8 ½” x 11”), a pair of St. Louis Braves programs (7” x 10”) from the mid-1960s, an Oshawa Generals program from 1966-67, a Niagra Flyers program ( 7 ¼” x 10 ½”) for a match against Oshawa and others! Another mentionable includes a 1974 program (8 ¼” x 11”) for the Memorial Cup. Other neat items include an Ottawa 67’s program from 1969 for an NHL exhibition game between the Bruins and Blues, a 1979-80 copy of Hockey Classic profiling the NHL and junior leagues, a huge 1992-93 Year in Review for the Kelowna Spartans with dozens and dozens of sheets of copies of Spartan news articles and much more. The majority of the earlier programs suffer from the regular issues one would expect including detached/absent center line-ups, creasing and toning, along with corner, spine and surface wear. A few examples also have more serious issues, including clipped pages and torn covers.
