This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 11/9/2016
The first Canadian inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame, not many are aware that Ferguson Jenkins also played with the Harlem Globetrotters in the off-season from 1967-69. This lot contains a collection of 12 Ferguson Jenkins signed baseballs. All signatures are sweet spot examples that have been scripted in ballpoint on official Rawlings American League Bobby Brown balls, with 8 having “HOF 91” notations, while the remaining 4 have the actual date filled in, with “HOF 7/21/91”. Most of the balls show varying degrees of toning, with three examples fairly white and clean. Each comes in its original Rawlings box, with all stored in the original 12-count box. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
