Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
A Memorial Cup winner with the Kitchener Rangers in 2003, David Clarkson is currently with the Columbus Blue Jackets, his third NHL team. This Toronto Maple Leafs “Third Set 2” jersey was game-worn by Clarkson in 2013-14. With proper size tagging affixed to the collar, there are also NHL and Reebok patches on the front and back necklines respectively. Featuring a gorgeous vintage felt team crest along with felt twill numbers, the sweater also sports a retro-style tie-neck collar. Visible game-use includes a large board burn on the left sleeve, along with a second example on the lower front. Also included in this lot is a pair of Leafs game-used socks from an unidentified player. Made by Reebok, each sock shows heavy use with 2 team repairs present. The jersey’s original point of sale tag from the Leafs team store is included, along with team COA’s for both the jersey and socks.
