Jacques Villeneuve sat out most of the 2004 F1 Championship season after being unable to secure a seat with the BAR Honda team. With only three races remaining in the season Jacques received a call from Renault's F1 team boss Flavio Briatore asking if Jacques would be interested in taking over the seat left vacant by Jarno Trulli as he was released by the team. Jacques competed in the final three races of the year and also participated in a few test sessions which makes anything he used while with the Mild Seven Renault F1 team very rare.
The Alpine Stars fire suit was custom-made to Jacques' oversized specifications, all of the team logos and sponsors are embroidered onto the suit and of course "Jacques Villeneuve" is embroidered across the waist. The suit has no tagging inside but does show some nice use from being worn and dry cleaned. Please take note the helmet, gloves and boots shown in the pictures are for display purposes only and are not included.
This item is from Jacques Villeneuve’s personal collection and will come with his signed LOA.
