Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
Designed in honor of the Royal Canadian Air Force and in particular Winnipeg’s 17 Wing, the modern jets logo is modeled after the roundels used by the RCAF, and it includes the silhouette of a McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet. This Canadian Armed Forces jersey was worn by Tobias Enstrom during the warm-up in the March 8th 2014 contest vs Ottawa. With size 52 CCM tagging affixed to the collar, the jersey has additional Reebok patches on the lower front and over the left breast. Camouflage in design with black and white identifiers, the patriotic garment also features a military-style stencil font along with a Canadian flag that sits over the right breast. With no damage or unsightly signs of wear, the uniquely styled sweater remains in gorgeous condition. Originally sold with the proceeds benefiting the Canadian Armed Forces charities, this jersey also sports a large team patch on the inside bottom hem including serial number, and a matching LOA from the Jets organization will accompany this important uniform.
