The backbone of the Broad Street Bullies in the mid-1970s, Bobby Clarke, Bill Barber and Rick MacLeish all contributed heavily to the back-to-back Stanley Cups the Flyers enjoyed in 1974 and ’75. This lot contains game-used sticks from the trio. All Sher-Wood models, each stick has the original tape on the blade and shaft. Each stick has the player’s name stamped on the upper shaft including “16” for Clarke. With just light game-wear to note on the Barber and MacLeish models, the Clarke stick exhibits heavier use including some cracking to the shaft midway up. Each stick has a date code on the underside, with the Clarke model showing “20 Dec 1983”, the MacLeish “7 Sept 1973”, and the Barber model, showing a handwritten date of “8-12-72”.
