Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016

One of only five members of the elite American-born 500 goals club, Keith Tkachuk was routinely a thorn in the side of the opposition with both his aggressive physical play, and his goal scoring prowess. This Louisville TPS graphite model stick was employed by Keith in the late-1990s, when his numbers were reaching their zenith. Stamped “Tkachuk” on the upper shaft with his “7” applied in marker, extensive game use is shown with considerable wear to the shaft’s edges throughout the length of the stick. Both the blade and upper shaft/knob retain their original tape jobs, and Tkachuk has placed a nice and dark black marker autograph to the lower shaft area just above the fiberglass reinforcements on the blade. An impressive, well used stick.
