Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction February 2016
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 2/23/2016
This pair of signed items pays homage to one of the first American NHL franchises, the New York Rangers. With the longest dry spell between cups, the Rangers advanced to the finals in 1994, and were successful in ending the half century drought. This first day cover features the details, with an image of Mike Richter kissing the cup. At 4” x 9 ½” and in excellent condition, it’s been signed by 10 in ballpoint including Messier, Leetch, Richter, Tikkanen, Graves, and others, and will include an LOA from JSA. The puck is an InGlasCo Rangers example, and it’s been signed by the one and only Wayne Gretzky in silver marker. A hologram numbered BAD38333 has been placed on the puck, and a matching COA will accompany.
