Cool, cool and tough, tough to find in nice, intact condition are little thumb-size flip books which came in boxes of Post cereal. Each book features one Montreal and one Toronto hockey star in action scenes from the 1966 Stanley Cup playoffs, with flipping the pages producing a motion picture. The flipping action would deteriorate the tiny books’ binding, making this issue extremely condition sensitive. Two-thirds of this set of 12 looks to be in difficult-to-hope-for-nicer condition, while the spines of three books are reinforced/repaired by tape. Scotch tape is visible on book #3-G. Tremblay/Horton and #11-Backstrom/Pulford, with magic tape at the spine of #9-G. Tremblay/Armstrong. A small stain on the Beliveau side of book #7 is also to note. Fragile, coveted collectibles will have serious hobbyists flipping!
